Omaxe will build and maintain the sporting venues and nightclubs for an extended period, and then DDA will take over. Omaxe's newly established commercial area has a 99-year lease. Omaxe, a real estate development company, has abandoned a 2,100-crore plan to build a sports arena and shopping center in the public capital of Dwarka. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) awarded the company this 50-section land project to develop under the "Plan Build Finance and Operate" method. Outdoor and indoor game facilities will be built. In addition to the commercial section, a vast cricket-cum-football arena is being prepared. A total of 2,100 crores is expected to be wagered, with an estimated 1,300 crore going toward sports mind-boggling and the lay on the retail area.
